IN-PERSON EMDR Basic Trainings:
We offer In-Person EMDR Basic Trainings throughout the Southwest. See location information below. All trainings are provided through EMDR Consulting. Each of these training courses meet all EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) requirements for EMDR Basic Training. The focus is teaching EMDR concepts with support and guidance in an in-person format that focuses on the foundations of EMDR through lecture, video demonstrations, and practice sessions where you are supported by experienced coaches who are enthusiastic about sharing their talent and skills!

EMDR CONSULTATION:
Consultation formats are provided for both individual and group consultations in person, online, telephone, and email.

There are different types of consultation between professionals as discussed below…
CONSULTATION FOR BASIC TRAINING
Consultation for Basic Training in EMDR Therapy for individuals trained by EMDR Consulting and for other EMDRIA Approved Basic Training providers. It is the Trainee’s responsibility to confirm with the Training Provider if the Provider will accept consultation for Basic Training from Shellie Ruge LPC or Stacey Beck LPC. Each EMDRIA Approved Basic Training Provider determines who they will accept to provide the consultation for basic training needed to complete a basic training in EMDR Therapy course of study.
CONSULTATION FOR EMDRIA CERTIFICATION THERAPISTS AND APPROVED CONSULTING
Stacey Beck LPC and Shellie Ruge LPC are certified in EMDR and EMDRIA Approved Consultant (EAC) and are therefore, credentialed to provide the consultation required to apply to EMDRIA as an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and/or EMDRIA Approved Consultant. Standards for EMDRIA certification are set by EMDRIA. We provide a contract that details the process of obtaining consultation for EMDRIA Certification and Approved Consultant to set expectations and make the process meaningful for clinicians.Therapists seeking consultation for certification or approved consultant are encouraged to review requirements found in the EMDRIA website at www.EMDRIA.org

CASE CONSULTATION
We provide peer case consultation for therapists with questions about working with clients. Licensed professionals are encouraged to consult as part of ethical practice. We enjoy working with therapists for all kinds of diverse clinical presentations and we believe consultation is part of creating a healthy therapist culture!
